In the State of Jammu and Kashmir lies Asia’s largest tulip garden. It is located in Srinagar and is situated at the foothills of the Zabarwan mountain range. Tulip Garden was inaugurated in the year 2007 with the aim of promoting tourism in the region. The garden is spread over 30 hectares and offers panoramic views of mountains and the Dal Lake. There are about 1.5 million tulips in over 60 mesmerizing varieties. Tulip Garden is open just for 20 days in a year. In 2024 it will open on 23 March.
